Share a Snack Tip or Recipe!

                                                           Hi Everyone!

Always good to snag a good snack tip or two from fellow participants and healthy conscious advocates! Please post a snack tip, recipe, or recipe link in the comment box below today's post. If possible, please list nutrition content/breakdown for recipes. For TNT Nutrition participants, if you are trying something new, feel free to share with me what you'd like to try to ensure it fits your meal plan properly! Remember, just because it's healthy doesn't mean if fits your assignments :)

We are only asking for cooking/recipe/snack tips or ideas, this is NOT the forum to give quick weight loss tips, these comments will not be approved for posting as they have no meaning for those of  us seeking lifestyle changes!

To new ideas!

  1. I enjoy making healthy hot sausages for dinner! With my husband and 2 growing nephews, they need to eat! This is quick and easy to make after a busy day. Look for low-fat chicken or turkey sausage, found near your turkey/chicken produce dept in the grocery. 1 link should average about 3.5-4g fat MAX. Cook on stove top on Med to Med-Low. Cook up some onions and colored peppers, grab whole wheat hot dog buns, ,and there you go! ~Shelby M.~ (Usually averages to 2 starch exchanges, 2-3 Lean Meat substitutes, and 1 vegetable exchange)
